About me
Hello Treeview Community! My name is Estrella Cardenas and I am honored to be your Social Emotional Counselor here at Treeview. I have been working within HUSD for 16 years now and have been working at Treeview for 4 years! I support ALL students through MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) which means all Treeview students get support from me either through class presentations/school assemblies, small group support, and/or individual counseling lessons. Treeview Elementary is a PBIS school. PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. It's a framework used in education to create positive, predictable, equitable, and safe learning environments. PBIS focuses on teaching and supporting positive behaviors, rather than just reacting to negative ones.
