"What is financial aid, and why does it matter?"

College can cost less than you think! Financing a college education is a partnership between colleges, the government, parents, and students. The cost of attending college can often be offset or paid entirely with financial aid packages. Financial aid consists of gifts that you do not have to repay (grants and scholarships) and self-help aid (loans and employment).

**NOTICE - This section of the THS College & Career Website is under construction. Due to changes being made to FAFSA during this school year, the application has not yet opened. It is estimated that the FAFSA for 2026-2027 will open sometime in October 2025. Please continue to monitor this page for updated information about FAFSA/CADAA.
