All About Me....

My name is Kim Kean and I have been in education for 29 years.  I started my teaching career here at Ochoa as a 7 grade English and 8th grade Leadership teacher.  I then spent 5 years as the Vice Principal here at Ochoa but found that what I most love is being in the classroom with the students. Recognizing that, I left administration, and went back into the classroom, when I had my first son.   I taught for a few years at Ruus Elementary and then returned back here, to my home, Ochoa Middle School.  **At this point, I may have had your parents as my students earlier in my career.  

I have three children of my own, so I know how crazy life can be. My husband is a pilot for FedEx and my dog's name is Tonka.  I love sports,  as a former Division 1 basketball player my favorite sport is basketball and I love the Warriors!  I liked them before they won the national championships.  My favorite baseball team is the A's and lastly, I'm a Niners fan, although I live in a Raider nation household!  I am excited to for this year and to spend this year with you all.
