If you want percussion, you have to buy your own equipment. NO EXCEPTIONS; do not ask for a loaner.
Saxophone is not a good starter instrument. I'm a saxophonist, but I started on clarinet.
Incomplete or poorly filled out applications may be thrown out.
Asking for a percussion loaner may be treated like an incomplete application.
Baritone horns are both small tubas and large trumpets. They're great for starting and probably the easiest to start on of all the options!

Practice tips:
Take your instrument out for at least 10 minutes a day, every day.
Review what you know and can do
Try the phrase/exercise/song backwards
Don't be afraid to look ahead in the book (I'll be posting more-detailed explanations for each page in your method book)
