Here, I will share some of the things that I am learning in 8th grade science. 

Our monthly goals will also be described. The goal for August and September was curiosity. Activities that we did for this week were a microscopy lab, cicada lab, Hungry Hungry sphero challenge, water quality testing, and Wonder Journals.

Mr favorite activity we've done this year was the Hungry Hungry Sphero Activity.

In the last three months we have done a lot of work together as a class. I have most definitely improved with my work over these past couple months. My favorite assignment/ activity we have done is the Earth's age drawings. I also enjoyed making the I Movie with one of my friends, Coby. I also really enjoyed making the Earthquake building activity. Although we failed I had a lot of fun making and designing the project. Being able to participate in these activities and have fun while building or creating makes science class much more diverting.  This Website is really cool and a fun way of seeing everything some students have worked on and took a lot of time on. 

In the last three months of science we have done a ton of new amazing and fun projects. For instance, Ohio Toxic Spill, science in the GIFS, stream table, Newtons Cradle, and many many more. These projects were so entertaining and amusing and I had so much fun participating and I'm very grateful to be apart of this class. All these months have been so much fun. Therefore, the last three months have felt like 3 weeks! 

In April though may we have been doing a lot of fun projects, including frog-bit, water quality, chicken-ology lab, punnet squares, Alien Genetics, mitosis and meiosis, Evidence for evolution stations, rock pocket mouse projects. These months have been fun because we are approaching the end of the school year and we are still doing fun projects. xx

8th grade science was a great year, we did tons of very fun projects. I mostly enjoyed all the hands on projects we did with crafting and building, those are very fun to me. I didn't enjoy when we had to stay at our desks and listen to a lesson on the smart board, that isn't fun to me and I sometimes would zone out and not pay attention.
