Welcome to my science website

Here I will share some of the things I learn in 8th grade science.

Our monthly goals will be also described. The goal for august and September was curiosity. Activities that we did  for this were Wonder Journals, HHS  challenge, microscopy  lab, using iPads, and water science.

My favorite activity was the Hungry hungry sphero challenge, because it was the most fun.

Update for October, November, And December

We have learned and did many projects these past 3 months. Examples could be Water quality testing, Book creator, Earth formation Project, Plate Tectonics, and many more. My personal favorite would be the plate tectonics, because I made it out of play-doh and I believe it turned out very nice. (These is shown to the left) Another thing we had done these past months is a lot of quizes, I believe I did ok on most of them. Water testing is also, one of the most fun things these past few months.

Updates for January, Feburay, and March

We have learned and acclomplished a lot this past few months. Some may include Ohio toxic spill, Science in Gifs, and the stream table. My favorite out of these three is a hard decison, but my favorite is most likely the Science in Gifs. This is because it was a fun and educational assignment. Just because the other two assignments werent my  favorites doesnt mean I didnt enjoy them. For the Ohio toxic spill we made a poster with details about the subject. Lastly, The stream table, I enjoyed this one a lot because it wwas very intresting to watch.

Updates for April and May

We have done many assignments, projects, and learned many thing over these past two months. Some of these activities may include doing punnet squares and I personly liked this subject of learning.  Another subject we learned about also includes Mitosis and meisos, and reprodction. And last but not least  is my favorite had to be the Rock pocket mouse project. This was my favorite because I chose to make a documentery for it and it was very fun.

Final thoughts on 8th grade science

I enjoyed the most is how we did a lot of hands on things and also used a lot of technolgy making science more fun overall. My least favorite thing has to be the gizmos they took awhile to complete. Something I want to learn in the future in science is more life science I find it very intresting.
