Welcome

Update for January, february, and March

In these months we did a bunch of activities and these are three. The Ohio toxic spill has greatly affected the environment around it, and the animals inside of the environment, we created little cut out pictures and some facts to hang up in the hallway to educate people walking by. We also used a Van de graaf generator to create static electricity to shock people after holding onto the top of it. We also worked with magnet stations, where we tested a bunch of magnets with different tools such as paperclips, to create a temporary magnet using a coil or electric wire.

Updates for April and May

I liked the alien gizmos, it rlly showed how genetic diversity can affect the outcome of results within a species, same thing with the chicken gizmo described the same chances and outcomes as the alien gizmo that showed how different traits can combine. The rock pocket mouse showed adaptation that is rlly important to some animals because if they don't adapt to the environment they won't survive and thrive. The water quality project was also quite fun and informative to show how the environment changes over time and how different weather and animals can affect it.

My final thoughts - I enjoyed the water quality infographic water quality project the most, and i don't really have a least favorite, they were all fun to do and informative. In conclusion we did a chicken and alien gizmo, we did a water quality infographic project, we also went through meiosis and mitosis along with punnet squares and rock pocket mice along with frog bit notes.
