Welcome

Welcome Ilia M.pdf

Welcome to my science website

Here I will share some of the things that I am learning in 8th grade science.

Our monthly goals will also be described. The goal for August and September was curiosity. Activities that we did for this were our Wonder Journal, the cicada lab, water quality testing, microscopy lab, and our Hungry Hungry Sphero challenge.

My favorite was the Hungry Hungry Sphero challenge.

Updates for october, november, and december

Everything is great, I'm enjoying all the projects that we got done so far. My favorite one was the earthquake building that we had to build. We didn't do great on that one because we made the straps too high and it wasn't stable. I have to grow in erosion, deposition, and weathering lessons. It was fun doing the projects and learning new lessons.

updates for January, Febuary, and march

These months I liked, Van de graaf generator, Science in the gifs and Newtons cradle. They were really fun and I enjoyed them all very much. The Van de graaf generator was fun because you could zap someone with it. My struggles are the newtons laws, because in  some situations you can't choose which law is the most suitabe for the right situation.

This years science was really fun. I mostly enjoyed labs but I also liked the projects that we did. My least favorite part was writing notes in our notebook. Also this years science was way better than last years. Also likes the content checks formats. I would like to learn more about physics in the future.

Update for spring

During spring we learned about life science. It was fun and I liked learning about chromosomes, DNA and alleles. I liked life science and the videos we watched about it. I liked the Frogbit project with spheros. It was fun this quarter and I didn't have any struggles.
