Here, I will share some of my things that I am learning in 8th grade science.

Our monthly goal will also be described. The goal for August and September was curiosity. Activities that we did for this were our Wonders Journals, The hungry Sphero challenge, water quality testing, evaluating article authenticity, the cicada lab, and a microscopy lab.

My favorite was the hungry hippo lab because we got  create things and destroy things that didn't work. we used a lot of problem solving.

doing activities and sketch notes and being active they give me good information and stuff and I keep that in my head. I get to learn with my friends is the best way for it to and making fun projects. sitting down and watching boring stuff and listening dont help they dont make me learn them as fast and i usually have to study longer as when I am writing it down and working i dint have to study.walking outside and learning stuff out there also help because i remember having a good time and not a boring class. 

we did the magnets station I remember that every side of a magnet has a north and a south no matter what. the Ohio toxic spill was a big part because we learned about how toxic stuff can not just affect the ground and soil but the water and people around it. I remember doing the GIFS where we had to name the different stuff the GIFS were doing like that GIf had gravity and air resistance.

Frogbit IT is an invasive organism and we need to kill them all. are project was able to gather all the frog bit. 

Water quality infographic project it was very boring because it was work 

chickenology lab this was a fun lab enjoyed it

punnet squares helped me learn alot about punnet squares it taught me alot about how generations and genetics can be made

alien genetics gizmo this was alot of work i enjoyed making alien babys ad stuff but other than that it was boring

mitosis and meiosis learning there was 2 daughter cells and 2 boy cells all i remeber

evidence for evolution station we went to 4 stations and wrote alot of new facts and images about how cells evolve and how they create animals

rock pocket mouse project was where we make a poster or any other way of drawling and show how white colored mice can blend into the sand better than brow colored mice and same thing with the opposite mice and we showed the preditors.

I think i learned more in this class of science than i have in any other which is a good sign i wouldnt ask for any other teacher. I learned alot of new things this year than i have any other year. i enjoyed the labs the most and doing activitys with friends and on the ipads. i wanna learn more about everything we learn this year but more.
