The CONNECT hosts come from industry and education. Each one has their own unique perspectives to bring into these career conversations.
Theresa is a CTE Principal, a college professor, and an English teacher. She moved from the traditional high school setting to Career and Technical Education because she has a passion for helping students and their career exploration journey with a more hands-on approach.
Sandi is a CTE school counselor. She has helped develop and oversee a large Dual Enrollment program for Huron County in partnership with MMCC. She is working to start a Middle College program with multiple Community Colleges across Michigan, providing high school students Associates Degrees and various Industry Certifications.
Lane is a CTE Director/Principal, a published author, a retail business owner, a coach, an outdoorsman, and also a dedicated father. He is passionate about education and giving students the best learning environments possible by creating amazing teaching teams with teachers that also share his passion!
Jeremy is the Career and College Readiness Instructor at the Huron Area Technical Center. His background as a science teacher, a principal, and coach, all fuel his passion for connecting students to their future careers. He currently serves as an On The Job (OJT) Coordinator connecting students to paid and unpaid local career opportunities while still in High School.
