Student Registration - Skyward

Click here to create a Family Access Account in Skyward to begin registering your student. Make sure you are using an email address that is active and one you can access. Once you have filled out the New Student Enrollment Form, you will receive an email with your login credentials for Skyward.
After you receive your credentials for Skyward, click here for instructions on how to register your new student on a mobile device.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION NEEDED FOR REGISTRATION:
(you will have an opportunity to upload these documents during the online registration process)
NEW Student to the District:
Parent/Guardian identification - driver's license, passport, or
other federal or state identification card
Student's Birth Certificate
Student's Shot Record - this is a requirement to complete
registration
Student's Social Security Card
Proof of Residency

Proof of Residency – The items listed below are acceptable
forms for proof of residency.
o Current utility bill - water, gas, or electric
o Deed of Trust
o Property tax statement
o Unexpired lease agreement showing the physical address
**A post office box address is not acceptable for proof of residency.

You will log into your Skyward Family Account to add a new student to HISD. You will select 25-26 New Student enrollment tile to enroll your student that will be new to the district.

If the proof of residency document is not in the parent/guardian’s name, then the homeowner on the proof of residency must print and complete the affidavit form linked below, have it notarized, and return to your student's campus registrar. The parent and homeowner must be present at the campus when returning the completed notarized affidavit. The homeowner will need to provide identification to the registrar.
In order to attend school in Huntsville ISD, a child must be:
4 years old on or before September 1 to attend Pre-K
5 years old on or before September 1 to attend Kindergarten

You should be able to click on the Forgot Password link on the Skyward Login page. You will be prompted to enter your username or email address that you used with your account. An email will be sent to you to reset the password. If you need further assistance, contact your student's school.
The following students will be required to submit immunization records:
All New Students
All Kindergarten students
All 7th grade students
