Carmen Caceres

Welcome to my Dance Education Website! I am Carmen Caceres, a New York-based dance artist and educator originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have 20 years of experience in arts education, with expertise in administration, management, programs and curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching. I have worked with multiple organizations in New York and Argentina as a Dance Teaching Artist, Associate Director in Education, and Teaching Artist Manager. I hold a BA degree in Dance and Education from SUNY Empire, a BFA in dance composition, and I am expecting my New York State License as a Dance Teacher this coming Spring, along with an MA in Dance Education at Hunter College. I am also the founder, artistic director, and manager of DanceAction, a contemporary dance company based in New York.

I have dedicated my career to combining arts education and administration with the creation and production of performing arts. I strongly advocate for arts education and artists' needs, and am committed to enriching communities by creating accessible educational and artistic experiences that foster collaboration and inclusion.
