Well done to the following pupils:
Harley - Harley is fantastic at making the connections between the different traditional stories we have focused on this module. She is able to communicate the moral of each story and what we can learn from them. She has also been very engaged in our learning about the Lunar New Year and is able to identify the important aspects to this celebration.
Bella - Bella visited Brazil over the Christmas period, since returning this module she has been keen to share her experiences and knowledge of Brazil and how it compares to England. She has been able to teach us some Portugese in class too!
Hector - You have demonstrated what an open minded learner you are. You ask questions are eager to share your knowledge and understanding.
Freddie - You have shown our class how to be an amazing inquirer and always try your best in lessons. You are happy to ask questions, show kindness to every child and eager to learn everyday.
Kady - For making connections with her history learning and the topic of flight and how it's evolved over time. She has also been able research information about flight around the world and share her research with her peers.
Poppy - Poppy has had some amazing discussion linking her pshe and RE work with our everyday lives. She has be open-minded and a very supportive member of the class.
Oscar - Oscar has shown respect and understanding when thinking about the journeys people go on in life. He has been open minded when looking at different religions celebrated here and around the world and how people's life journeys may be different for everyone.
Emile - Emile has shown a fantastic ability to make connections between our mountains topic and previously taught subjects this year. He has demonstrated an open mindedness to how land is used and how an environment can affect way of life. He has also extended his open mindedness to our RE topic this module, in understanding different points of views with regards to religion and worship.
Charlotte - Charlotte has embodied the idea of international mindedness this module during our learning about conflict. She has shown an incredibly deep interest in our learning about World War II, the impact this had both nationally and internationally and how this links in with current events. Charlotte clearly understands that one of the best ways to be prepared for future challenges is to have an informed understanding of past events.
