Star of the week
Reggie - Reggie has had a great transition into school and is confident to communicate in his play. He is very caring and looks after his peers when they might be upset.
Erin- Erin is an extremely caring member of the class. She is kind and helpful to her peers. She also helps to look after our learning environment. Thank you Erin, you are an asset to our class!
Beau - Beau's contributions in class are fantastic, he communicates his knowledge and his ideas well. Beau has been a risk taker coming into school in the morning independently. He is also one of the most caring children in the class, looking out for his peers and wanting to engage with everyone in his play. Beau, you are a superstar!
Jacob - Jacob is a fantastic communicator and is always keen to share his ideas. He has worked hard to be a STAR learner during carpet sessions and to ensure that he raises his hand, in order to share his thoughts. He is knowledgeable in phonics and is doing really well in segmenting and blending words to read by himself.
Zachary - Zachary has made a huge effort to be a STAR learner this week, engaging well on the carpet and in his tasks. When in his own learning, he is making his own choices and working well on sharing and taking turns with his classmates. Well done Zachary - we are proud of you!

Charlie - Charlie has had a fantastic transition into school. He is very principled and ensures he is always going above and beyond to help other children and the adults displaying how caring he is. Well done Charlie!
Aston - Aston displays all of the learner profile attributes. He is a fantastic risk-taker and has an excellent approach to learning. You are an asset to the class. Well done Aston!
Frankie-James - Frankie is an extremely caring member of the class. He is kind and helpful to his peers and the adults. He is always looking after our learning environment. Frankie is a reflective learner and strives to take to improve his learning. Well done Frankie!
Grace-Estelle - Grace is an extremely caring member of the class. She is kind and helpful to her peers. She also helps to look after our learning environment. Grace is also extremely knowledgeable and she is always keen to share her ideas with the class. Thank you Grace, you are an asset to our class!
Harrison - Harrison has been extremely principled this week. He has been following our class and school rules and putting his hand up on the carpet. Harrison is demonstrating how knowledgeable he can be through his excellent communicating. Harrison we are so proud of the progress you are making, well done!

Ariella - Ariella has shown she is a very principled learner. She has tried her best with everything she has done and has been a great role model with her behaviour for learning. This week she has also shown how caring she is by celebrating the successes of her peers. Well done Ariella on a great week and start to Year 1!
Roman - Roman has been a risk taker this week particularly with his writing during our English work. He has tried new things and been reflective on his work. We are very proud of you Roman. Well done!
Leo - Leo has been a fantastic communicator this week sharing his ideas and thoughts confidently about our learning. He has also demonstrated he is a reflective learner by recalling knowledge from previous lessons to support him with improving his work. Well done Leo!
Albie - Albie has shown how caring he is this week by not only supporting his peers in class but also supporting others in the school community on the playground. Well done Albie. We are really proud of you!
Esme-Elizabeth - Esme has made a fantastic start to the Hundred of Hoo Academy. She has settled into Frog class really well and has shown what a principled, reflective and caring learner she is. Well done Esme!

Charlie - Charlie has had a fantastic first module in Year 1. He has had a fantastic Module 1 and demonstrates many of the learner profile attributes every day. He has an obvious love of learning, strives to take risks every day, reflects on feedback and is extremely caring to those around him. You are a superstar Charlie and we are so proud of you!

Kai - Kai has been an excellent role model and star learner this week. We are impressed with his great knowledge in English and Phonics. You have been caring and kind to others around you. Well done Kai for starting Year 1 so beautifully.
Sophia - Sophia has been an excellent star learner and is always displaying our learner profile attributes. She is principled and caring to everyone around her and always tries her best. This week she has shown great teamwork in class discussions and in PE by supporting her teammates.
Rhys - Rhys has been extremely principled and caring to others around him. He has been confident in sharing ideas during our English work but also being a risk taker in retelling and adapting 'The Deep Dark Wood'. We are super proud of you Rhys.

Etta - Etta has been an excellent role model and communicator this week, sharing her ideas and thoughts whilst demonstrating good teamwork. She has an amazing attitude to learning and is an inquirer in all lessons, asking questions to learn more about the world. Well done Etta!

Gracie - Gracie has been an excellent communicator this week especially in English and Maths and is always being a risk-taker. She has shown how knowledgeable she is by remembering the features of instructions and why imperative verbs were needed. Well done Gracie!

Bertie - Bertie has settled in beautifly into Year 2. He has been working hard to show us what he can remember from Year 1 and has been developing his communication skills. Well done Bertie!
Davina-Rae - Davina-Rae has settled beautifully into Year 2 which has been great to see. She has shown she can be a principled member of the class, as well as a risk-taker when completing her learning. During Forest School it was great to see Davina following the rules and expectations as well as developing her creative side when completing tasks set by the adults. Well done!
Kian - Kian has been a risk-taker this week. Especially in English and Inquiry lessons, by sharing his ideas and answering a range of different questions to help him become a more knowledgeable learner.
Carter - Carter has been a risk taker this week by developing his independence in his learning. It has been great to see Carter's confidence during learning time and I know he will continue to flourish. Well done Carter!
Poppy - Poppy has been a great communicator this week by contributing her ideas during learning time. She has shown she is knowledgeable by remembering key information about Florence Nightingale and why she was a significant individual in history.
TJ - TJ has been caring towards his peers by helping them within lessons showing what a supportive member of the class looks like.

Amelia - Amelia has blown us away this module by consistently following the Learner Profile Attributes. There has not been a day where Amelia has not been principled and not taken risks. It has also been great to see Amelia show what a great inquirer she is, especially when learning about the Victorians.

Hector - Hector has worked hard in every lesson and demonstrated to others how to be principled. He always follows our golden rules and tries to be his best self in everything he does. Keep up the good work Hector!
Paige - Paige has demonstrated many of the learning profile attributes this week. She has been caring towards others, principled, as well as a thinker, when asking lots of interesting questions. Paige is an excellent role model to the children in Adder Cass with her impeccable behaviour. Well done Paige!
Sena - Sena has been a risk taker this week, especially in her Reading and English. She has shown great determination to be principled during lessons as well as being caring towards others. Keep up the good work Sena!
Maxwell - Maxwell has been a reflective learner this week by improving his attitude towards learning. He has been determined to complete his work, demonstrating that he is a principled learner. Keep up the good work!
Eliza - Eliza has a risk taker this week and has been determined to me be an independent learner. This was evident during her Maths lessons, where she demonstrated her understanding of place value. She has been caring towards her friends and offers comfort if she she someone is upset. I am very proud of your efforts Eliza, keep up the good work.
Lily - Lily has shown that she is knowledgeable as well as a risk taker this week. She produced fantastic research about Charles Dickens and has been incredibly principled in every lesson. Keep up the good work Lily!

Sergio - Sergio has been an amazing member of our class showing an amazing caring attitude. He has been a fantastic helper and supporting his peers. in lesson as well as during break and lunch.
Paisley - For being a reflective learner and striving to be the best in every lesson. She takes risks to improve her learning and always wants to challenge herself and her peers. Well done Paisley.
Laurie - For always being a principled and caring class member who is always wanting to support and help his peers. He has demonstrated his fantastic mathematical knowledge this week by showing a deepening understanding of ordering and comparing 3-digit numbers.
Rose - Rose has taken risks in her learning this week. She has demonstrated how taking risks and reflecting on her learning can improve and deepen her understanding. This was evident in her maths lesson this week, where we have used her knowledge of place value to help solve addition and subtraction problems.
Ruby - Ruby has demonstrated amazing social and communications skills this week and has settled into our class amazingly well. She has shown a great attitude towards her learning, been a risk-taker and open-minded with our daily routines.
Remi - Remi has shown he can be a really caring member of the class by helping and supporting his peers. He has demonstrated what a principled learner he can be and tried to build his learning through reflections and questioning across the foundations subjects.

Stanley - Stanley has been a star learner this week. He has shown all the values of our school and worked incredibly hard in all areas. Well done Stanley for a fabulous start to year 3!
Libby - Libby is going from strength to strength everyday. She is showing a great deal of resilience in all lessons and I am incredibly proud of the effort she puts in to her learning. Libby should be proud of what she is doing. Keep up the excellent attitude Libby!
Mason - Mason has demonstrated his deeper understanding of writing skills this week. His attention to detail has been exceptional and impressive. Well done for taking risks in your English lessons and proving what you know!
Elliott - Elliot has been incredibly focussed this week and shown his true ability in all lessons. He has a wonderful caring manner and is a perfect star learner everyday. Well done Elliot, keep up the super attitude!
Calbi - Calbi has had a marvellous week of setting himself huge targets in both reading and writing. He is reading with more care and engagement and his writing is reflective of his reading skills. Well done Calbi for being an enthusiastic learner who has taken risks!
Summer - Summer has been demonstrating her amazing writing skills this week. She is starting to show how well she can plan and publish a piece of writing using her understanding of a text. I am so proud of all the effort she is putting into her work and the amount of enthusiasm she shows with all lessons. Keep up the great work Summer!

Luna - Luna has demonstrated how knowledgeable she is this week during our new Inquiry topic, Ancient Maya. She has shown how polite she is and has made a fantastic effort in her presentation of work. What a great start to Year 5 Luna, well done!
Oliver - Oliver has demonstrated a fantastic attitude to his learning this week and has shown great confidence in sharing his ideas with our class. He is a kind member of the class who is principled and reflective in all that he does. We are really proud of all of the hard work he is putting in and his dedication to his learning. Well done!
Maisie - Maisie has had a fantastic week this week. She has been an amazing communicator when contributing her ideas to the class. She has shown she is a risk-taker by having a go, even if she is is unsure, and has applied everything she has been learning to her work. This week Maisie has demonstrated an enthusiasm to her learning that has been infectious to those around her and it has been lovely to see. We are so proud of you Maisie, well done!
Dexter - Dexter has been a fantastic communicator this week and is a very reflective learner. He has taken on board any feedback and skills that we have been learning, enabling him to create a fantastic piece of persuasive writing to sell a chocolate bar he has designed. Dexter is a principled and kind member of our class who is a fantastic role model to others. Well done Dexter!
Oakleigh - Oakleigh has worked incredibly hard this week, especially in writing, where he has produced a fantastic narrative piece with dialogue. He is able to communicate his ideas well and reflects on his work, taking on board any feedback he is given. He comes into class everyday with a smile and is a kind and caring member of our class who is always willing to help others. Well done Oakleigh!
Amelia - Amelia is a reflective and hard-working member of Kestrel class and is becoming more confident each week. She is a great communicator and is beginning to become more of a risk-taker during her learning. Amelia has demonstrated some fantastic knowledge this week, particularly in Science when analysing data gathered during our water resistance experiment. Well done Amelia!

Rosie - Rosie, through her hard work and constant focus on learning in class has demonstrated how much of a principled and knowledgeable learner that she is. She has constantly asked questions to further her own understanding which really clearly demonstrates the learner profile attribute of being an inquirer.
Annebelle - Annebelle has been an excellent communicator this week, joining in with Spanish as well as talking about her ideas in reading and writing. She is also a knowledgeable pupil, sharing what she has learned during Maths - Well done!
Teddy - Teddy has been a fantastic inquirer this week in Geography, discovering different sites on the large OS maps and being able to use his new found map reading skills to develop his understanding of how settlements are connected. He worked well independently as well as in a small team demonstrating he is a great communicator too. Listening to others and explaining to them how to find specific places on the maps.
Kendrick - Kendrick has demonstrated his knowledge this week in maths, recalling his times tables facts and applying this knowledge to prime numbers and cube numbers. His excellent knowledge has been communicated to clearly to his peers to ensure all our answers were correct. Well done!
Freddie - Freddie has been a great communicator this week, explaining long division to the class confidently. He has also demonstrated great thinking skills by writing a creative, historical narrative in English. He has shown that he is reflective in his work, looking back at how he can edit and improve too. Well done.
Amelia - Amelia has demonstrated she is a risk-taker this week in maths. She has tried every question and persevered with all the tricky challenges - including long division. She is an inquirer by researching all about the Medway Dutch Raid work. Well done.
Star of the Term
Urfan - Urfan has shown he is a great thinker this week, when writing his final piece. By bringing together all of his imaginative ideas and knowledge of the story, he has created an interesting historical narrative, with authentic historical facts. Urfan works incredibly hard to reflect on his work - making edits and improvements - for a well-thought out final write. Well done Urfan.
