Holotipo:

IAvH-P-16138, macho inmaduro (201 mm ancho de disco). Colombia, Meta, sistema del río Orinoco, cuenca del río Meta, pequeño arroyo cerca de Giramena; Heiko Bleher, 2015.

Observaciones: no recibido aún. Cola mutilada justo posterior al origen de la aleta dorsal.
