4/18/2024

The team is now working on Milestone 8. The completion of Milestone 8 will result in the ability to conduct evaluation for first-time freshmen. 

3/14/2024

Undergrads

The team continues to work on Milestone 7 - please see 2024 Timeline for milestone deliverables. 

A new "Slate Requests" request form has been created to track requests for operational work that requires intervention from the Slate Captain. Requiring the use of this request form to ask the Slate Captain to do work outside of the project will allow the Slate Captain to manage and track requests for work outside of the project and help the Project Management team understand the impact of the operational requests on the reimplementation project.

Grads

Work on the Grad processes and workflow is now underway.

The team is working on Milestone 7 - please see 2024 Timeline above. Completed Milestone 7 deliverables to date are the Leadership Studies Campaigns and the Application Statuses.

2/9/2024

The team has completed its long term planning for the remainder of this project and created a timeline of targeted milestones. The timeline can be viewed by clicking on the link above "2024 Timeline."  Our timeline is intended to be a regularly updated, living document that communicates where the project is at any given point. 

2/5/24

The team has completed their latest milestone where they created the ability to communicate via Slate with Credential, Certificate, and Grad applicants. Actually processing these types of applications within Slate is scheduled for a subsequent milestone.

The team also added the ability to deliver decisions to Leadership Studies applicants via Slate and campaigns for those applicants are being created now.

They also design the permissions scheme so the work to define processes, functionality in Slate to conduct processes and assignment of roles and permissions can begin.

The team is now focusing on designing the undergrad application workflow in Slate and defining other processes for permissions assignments.

The team is working on rolling out the next set of undergrad application processing and ways to implement communication features for Grad, Certificate, and Credential applicants.

12/5/2023

The team successfully completed the roll out of the 12/4 features (please see the 12/1/2023 update below for details) and is now planning our next milestone.

12/1/2023

The team is preparing to roll out the functionality that will allow applicants to respond to decisioning email by logging into myHumboldt to access the new Applicant Status Page in Slate. To accomplish this milestone, the following backend work was completed. The target availability of this functionality is 12/4.

11/2/2023

The team has completed our first milestone of application processing and the following functionality has been developed.

• Load application data from Web Admit into Slate and PS

• Applicants in Slate will have both an empl ID and a username from PS

• We will be able to detect which applicants have an undetermined residency

10/26/2023

Good progress is being made on building the application process in Slate and working towards decisioning capabilities.

The team is finalizing the specifics of the functionality that will be in place and how initial processing will work starting on 10/2/23

The Inquiry and Senior Search Campaigns have been launched!

The team's focus now moves to application processing.
