Plan your summer reading explorations!
Let's make a plan for summer reading! Do this with friends, family or people you care about! You can create a reading goal together. Check in periodically to see how you are reaching the reading goal you set. Encourage each other to keep it going!
Gather all the summer reading materials.
Print off the log.
Put your reading dates and times on the calendar.
Make a list of books you would like to read. Check out the highlighted ones here. (Some are links to hear the story read to you!) There is also another tab up top with some good books to check out.
Set a reading goal. You can set a goal to reach a certain number of minutes each day or a certain number of books by the end of the summer.
Do you have any books that fit the theme? The "Color Our World" theme could be about learning about art, famous artists, cooking, gardening, the science of rainbows or prisms, or an artistic expression of your own making. Use our list or make your own.
