Plan your summer reading adventure!
Let's make a plan for summer reading! Do this with friends, family or people you care about! You can create a reading goal together. Check in periodically to see how you are reaching the reading goal you set. Encourage each other to keep it going!
Gather all the summer reading materials.
Print off the log.
Put your reading dates and times on the calendar.
Make a list of books you would like to read. Check out the highlighted ones here. (Some are links to hear the story read to you!) There is also another tab up top with some good books to check out.
Set a reading goal. You can set a goal to reach a certain number of minutes each day or a certain number of books by the end of the summer.
Do you have any books that fit the theme? The "Adventure Begins at Your Library" theme could be about learning about nature and the outdoors, reading fantasy genre books, virtual travel around the world through books, exploring a new hobby, reading about historical events, reading books by a particular author, or an adventure of your own making. Use our list or make your own.
