How to Register
Overview
Please read the following for more information and instructions on how to enroll for courses at HUFS.
Kindly note that course enrollment in Korea is HIGHLY COMPETITIVE so it is strongly recommended that students bring a backup plan when joining our program in the likelihood of not being able to enroll for first choice courses.
course availability
There are two rounds of course registration at HUFS. Registering for courses is very competitive and preference is given to seniors and juniors, as well to students who are majoring in a given subject. Each day of enrollment, a new number of slots for each course will become available for students. Exchange and Visiting students will be able to enroll in courses every single day (except for restricted courses).
Please note that the list of course listed above may change prior to course enrollment.

Important Notes
It is ideal to secure your courses before you come to Korea, but if you do not get the courses you want during the first round of registration, please do not worry! You will have another chance to register during Round 2.
Many courses are restricted during the 1st round to ensure that local HUFS students get the courses they need for their majors (especially business courses). Please see the FAQ section about professor email addresses (see the video below as well) and search for your professor's contact information to get a head start.

OFFLINE Course ENROLLMENT
If you are unable to enroll for a course online, please do the following steps:
Contact the professor in charge of the course of interest.
Receive permission to take their course and receive their signature on your registration form. This signature can be digital or a screenshot of their permission email attached to the form is also acceptable.
Visit the OIAM office with the physical form and our office will try our best to help students get enrolled.
Please be aware that there are limited seats, and spots are given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Graduate School courses must be enrolled through the offline method ONLY (Online course registration is not possible for graduate school courses)
Also, getting the professor’s signature is not a guarantee of a spot in the class. There still may be restrictions based on majors/departments as well as limits on class size regardless of having received professors' permission.
Download a copy of the form (click here).
Students can register for these courses during the second round of course enrollment. Please do not send or bring these forms to the OIAM any earlier as it will not be accepted.
How to Get Instructors Contact Info
HUFS Portal/WIS
Login to HUFS Web Information System (WIS: https://wis.hufs.ac.kr/ )
After you are logged in, you can open the course syllabuses and see the email address of the instructors in our Google Site or Homepage.
Watch the video to see how this works.
Note
Although the WIS home page looks identical to the Course Registration Page - these two are NOT the same places to login for getting instructor contact information off the syllabus.
