Homeostasis: The maintenance of a constant internal environment in the body is called Homeostasis
What do plants need to keep constant/stable:
- Water
- Sunlight
- Carbon Dioxide
Control of water is important for the survival of the plant. This is achieved by a number of methods.
- Opening and closing of the stomata
- Waxy cuticle on leaves
- Storage of Water
