Every year the Lower and Upper Schools at Hudson College hold their annual Terry Fox Run to raise money for cancer research.
On September 20th, both schools will host their run this year, in the neighbourhood surrounding the school. We'll also be holding a fundraising BBQ, with burgers and hotdogs for sale, and all proceeds will be donated to the Terry Fox Foundation.
We raised $22,638 in 2023—and now for our twentieth year of Terry Fox fundraising, we’re aiming to surpass $20,000 again! By participating in the BBQ, you can help us reach that goal in partnership with the Lower School!
Burgers: $3.50 ea
Hot Dogs: $2.00 ea
No, the BBQ lunch is NOT part of the Huskies Kitchen Hot Lunch Program.
That's up to you! If you want to participate in the BBQ but you ALSO want your regular Hot Lunch, you can keep your order. BUT we do want to reduce food waste, and if you know you won't eat your Hot Lunch, you should make sure to cancel it. ALL Hot Lunch orders can be cancelled up to 8 AM same day.
Absolutely! Preorders can be made through QuickSchools. The form will be active through the parent portal!
We accept cash, credit, and debit!
No. The day of the Terry Fox Run starts and ends at the same time as any other school day. However, one period will be a little shorter as that's when the whole school will leave for the run.
Totally! We're always looking for student helpers! You can see Mr. McMaster for more information on how you can help out!
