Meet the Teachers!

Mrs. Brown-6th grade bands, 8th grade band (2nd trimester), Jazz Ensemble, and 6th-8th grade lessons

This is my 12th year of teaching band, and my 14th year as a public school educator.

A little bit about me: I love taking my dog Mabel for nature hikes with my wife. I also enjoy our two cats, Winkie and Francis. I currently play trumpet in 2 jazz groups: one has no name yet (bass, keyboard, drums, trombone, tenor sax, trumpet) and the other is called the MN Freedom Jazz Ensemble. I really love playing just about any type of music and sharing it with others. :-)

I am really looking forward to getting to know all of you this year!
