Hi everyone!  I am so excited to be back in Literacy again this year - this time with a different co-teacher!  Mrs. Corbett and I have known each other for 20 years so I have no doubt that we will be a fantastic team! 

I was born in Warren, Ohio and lived there until I got married. I  went to Warren City Schools most of my life and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Warren, Ohio.  I graduated from Youngstown State University in 1999 with my bachelor's degree in education.  In August of 1999, I was hired as an 8th grade social studies teacher in Hubbard and have been here since teaching both social studies and Literacy.  In 2003, I earned my master's degree from Marygrove College.

Hubbard is such a wonderful community and a terrific place to raise a family.  Both of my children attend Hubbard schools and as a parent, I feel they have both received an excellent education!  Mrs. Corbett and I  both have such a passion and dedication to teaching that no matter what the circumstances, we will strive for excellence!  Please know we are here to help you navigate through this year and help your child to achieve their best!
