Throughout the school year, your child will be required to practice math fluency skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Each student will take "timed tests" every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Mrs. Hardy and I require that each student practice at home Monday-Thursday for 10 minutes each night. Your child will be receiving cut-out flash cards that can be utilized for practicing along with a zip lock baggie. On occasion, we will continue providing each student with new flash cards that will be added to their baggies. Also, your child will be receiving a weekly "parent signature sheet" each Monday that must be signed nightly. Mrs. Hardy and I will be collecting these sheets at the end of every week to ensure that you have been practicing with your child.
