Welcome! 🥳
My name is Mrs. Kayla Welsh, and I am the 9–12th Grade Resource Room Intervention Specialist at Hubbard High School. I am a licensed Intervention Specialist for grades K–12 with a minor in General Psychology and am Highly Qualified (HQT) in all core content areas. I also hold a Master’s degree in Digital Curriculum and Instruction from Youngstown State University.Â
I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to student teach in both Hubbard Elementary (grades 1 and 4) and at Trumbull Career & Technical Center (TCTC), which gave me valuable experience working with a wide range of students in different learning environments. This year marks my seventh year at Hubbard High School, and I’m so excited to continue growing with our students!
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children, Mason (4) and Harper (2). Our family also includes three lovable dogs, two ducks, and a cat. In my free time, I love fall, coffee, gardening, reading, and, of course, learning!
I have a true passion for integrating life skills and transitional skills into the classroom, and I’m looking forward to another amazing year of learning and growth together.
