Numbers - Your child should be able to identify and write the following numbers:
0 - 20 (remind that "teen" numbers start with a 1)
***If your child can identify and write all 0-20, keep going! Try 0-30, then 0-40, and so on.

Shapes - Your child should be able to identify the following:
circle, square, rectangle, triangle, oval, rhombus, hexagon
cone, cube, cylinder, sphere, rectangular prism, pyramid

Counting - Your child should be able to:
Count backwards from 20 to 0 (or higher)
Count on from any given number (Ex: Tell him/her, "Count on from 52" and see if he/she can say "52, 53, 54, etc." Then give another random starting number and see if he/she can count on from there).

Adding and Subtracting - Your child should be able to:
Complete addition and subtraction problems within 10 (with the support of using fingers, counters, or manipulatives)
Add and subtract within 5 fluently (when shown an addition or subtraction problem within 5, he/she should be able to come up with the answer quickly without support)
