Performing Arts
Drama Club
A fun and interesting CCA where students express their creativity through various drama skills and different types of theatric antics. Students get to learn more about the various aspects of acting which includes the learning of stage terminology, working on acting skills, set building, and costumes/makeup design as they pursue and excel in their talent and passion in theatre. Opportunities are created for students to showcase their acting skills during various internal and external performances and competitions. These platforms allow for exposure to the local arts scene as they attend the drama performances.
Modern Dance
The Modern Dance CCA aspires to groom and bring out the best in each student in the area of Performing Arts. Students get to learn expressive dance styles that combines elements of several dance genres including Modern, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip-Hop. The practices also set the foundation of physical conditioning and building up of the dancers’ strength, allowing them to be more aware of their body parts and muscles. Students are given multiple opportunities for performances within the school as well as on national platform. There is also regular conduct of exchange performances as well as performance viewing.

Chinese Dance
The Chinese Dance CCA aims to promote a better understanding and appreciation for this classic art form through a distinct blend of traditional and contemporary dance techniques. Students master a range of dance techniques and styles emphasizing on strength, balance and endurance with importance placed on rhythmic precision. Students are given opportunities to build their showmanship as they participate in various performances, both during school-based and community events. There is also regular conduct of exchange performance as well as performance viewing.

Angklung & Kulintang Ensemble
The Angklung & Kulintang Ensemble allows students to learn how to play the Angklung & Kulintang (musical instruments of Javanese origin, made of bamboo) and perform together as a group. Students come together to express themselves through the melodious music with the instruments, with an aim to create a fun environment as they develop their passion for the arts and musicianship. This is also coupled with students playing and performing at various internal and external platforms of traditional folksongs, local songs and popular songs.

Guitar Ensemble
The Guitar Ensemble aims to develop creativity through music appreciation. All students are welcome to join the Guitar Ensemble, as having a music background is not a pre-requisite. Students will be taught to strum, pluck and other playing techniques as they learn to master new chords, note reading and melodic playing of various popular songs. They also learn basic lyrical writing skills, creation of percussion rhythm and strumming patterns in addition to what is taught in the school’s music curriculum. Students are given opportunities to build their showmanship as they participate in various performances, both during school-based and community events. There is also regular conduct of exchange performance as well as performance viewing.
