What is a "Freight Farm"?

A "container farm", which is a hydroponic farming system retrofitted inside an intermodal freight container. A Freight Farm is developed by the company, "Freight Farms" located in Boston. The company also developed farmhand, a hydroponic farm management and automation software platform, and the largest connected network of hydroponic farmers in the world. Why do we want a Freight Farm?

There are a variety of applications we’re considering exploring upon acquiring one, but the ultimate goal is to use the solution to provide free, nutritious food to our students in need.

How are we planning to fundraise for the farm?

To raise funds, we’ve decided to utilize our graphic design talents to create merchandise and offer our skills to the WEST community. Thus, we created this site. This website is used to provide insight into our initiative, share our Gofundme, order merchandise, request our services, and provide the WEST community with useful web resources.
