Support for Youth

  • Perform Care

Perform Care helps New Jersey’s families and young people access publicly funded services for youth up to age 21 through the statewide New Jersey Children’s System of Care (CSOC). Help is available for children, adolescents, and young adults seeking behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disability, or substance use treatment services.   • 2nd Floor Youth Hotline

2NDFLOOR is a confidential and anonymous helpline for New Jersey's youth and young adults. They are here to help you find solutions to the problems that you face and are available 24/7 365 days a year.T o contact 2NDFLOOR or ask about their services, please use one of the following options.

The Hopeline is New Jersey's 24/7 peer support and suicide prevention hotline. The specialists at the NJ Hopeline are available to provide confidential phone counseling, support and referrals to local resources to help youth and families get through difficult times.

New Jersey's publicly funded health insurance program - includes CHIP, Medicaid and Medicaid expansion populations. Qualified NJ residents of any age may be eligible for free or low cost health insurance that covers doctor visits, prescriptions, vision, dental care, mental health and substance use services and even hospitalization.

  • NJ Department of Human Services: Mental Health Telephone Support

  • The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are committed to improving crisis services and advancing suicide prevention by empowering individuals, advancing professional best practices, and building awareness. They provide support and assistance 24/7 for adults who are depressed, overwhelmed or suicidal.
