Scholarshops for the Class of 2026 will be posted on or around February 1. Watch your email for info!
No late applications will be accepted.
Our local senior awards typically total more than $30,000 in awards to just our Hillsborough students, so these applications are well-worth your time and energy!
You must use your student htps account to join the Google classroom, and view anything having to do with senior awards. Parents, please do not request access; it will not be granted. This process must be completed by your student, with their account.
Please refer to the email from Mrs. Povall, for Google Classroom access code information. If you can't find the email, check with a friend, or email Mrs. Thomson or Mrs. McClaughry.
Paper copies of applications and materials will not be accepted.
Local Scholarship Application Tips:
Print out and review the list of awards in the information sheet first and highlight the ones to which you qualify and wish to apply to.
Over the next few weeks, begin to prepare any required essays. For a few of the awards, you may be able to tweak your college admissions essay to fit the prompt.
Organize your activities, community service, and work history so the data entry process will be faster.
Be sure to attach the profile page to each assignment (scholarship). It is always required.
Be sure to TURN IN the materials for each scholarship in Google Classroom. Only those materials that have been TURNED IN will be reviewed.
We are happy to provide this list of national and regional scholarships. Additional scholarships will be added as they are received.
Tips for use:
Bookmark this page
Open the Google Sheets document in its own window (click the arrow in a box at the top right of the table)
Use the Find function to search for keywords, like "nursing", "engineering", "health science", "trade", "service", "volunteer" - it's not perfect, but it helps!
Used this before? Use the Date Added column to see scholarships that have been added since your last visit.
Regional and specialized scholarships offer the best odds. Very large, general scholarships with no real eligibility criteria can mean lots of time for a very low chance of receiving the scholarship.
*Note, these scholarship listings are from an outside source.
