Geeta Session is an important ongoing activity at the Hindu Temple of Central Indiana.

It is held from 10 AM to 12 noon on every second Sunday of the month in front of Radhakrishna Sannidhi.

The session consists of shlokas, dhuns, Geeta Chapter summary and a discourse on Bhagvad Geeta and related topics by local and outside speakers.

Time: 10 a.m. - 12 Noon

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROGRAM:

Discourse Topic: Charuvaka Worldview - Indian Materialism

Speaker: Shri Aswath ji

Shri Aswath ji is a multilingual scholar of Vedic literature, a computer scientist with additional degrees in Physics, Mathematics and Law. He is continuing his centuries old family traditions of high scholarship in Indian Scriptures. He lectures extensively on Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.

Currently living in Columbus Ohio, he has held seminars and workshops in USA, Canada, Mexico and in India. He has published many articles and manuals on Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism and regularly teaches Sanskrit. He was bestowed the title of “Samskrita Sri” by the World Institute of Vedic Studies.

He has been a frequent speaker on several topics in Indianapolis for over 18 years.
