The opening hours of MMR are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Computers in MMR can be booked 2 weeks in advance on CMS.
Students can book a maximum of 2 time slots in each week.
Students can cancel bookings anytime before the day of use.
Students need to present their Student ID card to the IT Prefect before using the computer. If a student fails to show up after a booking is made 3 times, she will not be allowed to use the computers in Rm 108 for 2 weeks.
Users can borrow any resources such as CD or videotape from the technician. No resources can be taken away from the MMR.
No consumable materials including paper, stationery and floppy diskette will be provided.
Users can print the master copy only, duplication is not allowed.
Public computers are also available for students to use in Rm515 and school library.
The opening hours of Rm515 are from 3:45pm to 5:00pm afterschool every school day.
Students do no need to make reservation to use the computers in Rm515 and school library.
Printing service is not available in Rm515 and library.
Users will be liable for any damage caused.
Users are not allowed to install any software into the workstation without permission.
For data storage, users can use their own USB flash drive that are virus free.
Users should scan their diskettes for virus whenever they use them
At most two users are allowed to occupy one computer.
Users can use the AV equipment to listen or watch their own videos. Indecent content is strictly forbidden. Users should learn to be self-disciplined to benefit from modern technology.
Eating or drinking in any computer rooms is strictly forbidden.

Students are kindly asked to keep their account default password properly.
Students should change the default password once received.
Students should not share the password with others.
Limit the amount of information you provide to web sites.
Install a personal firewall.
Install an antivirus program and update the virus detection signatures regularly.
Backup your files regularly.
Apply updates and patches to your computer regularly to fix known security loopholes.
Do not reply to a junk e-mail.
Do not forward hoax e-mails.
Do not install any programs from doubtful web sites.
Scan the files downloaded from the Internet before installation.
Take a short break for every hour of work.
Do stretching and relaxing exercise in the break.
Massage your eyes in the break.
Use ergonomical mouse, keyboard and chair to work.
Adjust monitor and chair to suitable angle.
Use computer in good lighting environment.
Print both sides of paper.
Uses eco-mode for draft printing.
Adjust the print ratio in order to reduce the use of paper.
Preview printing layout before printing to avoid wasting of paper.
Avoid moving your computer when the hard disk is rotating in order to extend its life span.
Avoid dust and humidity to extend computer’s life span.
Set up the stand-by mode of your computer to save power consumption.
Avoid using capital letters in e-mail and other occasions because it usually represents your anger.
Avoid sudden enlargement of particular words in your typing because it is impolite.
Put down e-mail title, the titles of recipients and your signature when writing formal e-mail.
