Created specifically to make creating Math assessments easier, Equatio is an extension that makes writing math terms and symbols easier. It works almost seamlessly in Google forms and docs to create cleaner looking assessments.
Showme is an app that allows you to draw and record yourself, which can be really helpful in math because some students need to see the steps multiple times before they catch on to a concept. If you record the steps and share videos with students, they can reinforce their own learning. It has a free version which limits the number of lessons you can download, but there's still a ton of value in the free program. It also has a ton of free lessons you can access that have already been created by other students and teachers.
Nearpod has features like Showme embedded and allows for content and lessons to be integrated seamlessly with drawable slides. It's a little pricey for a teacher license ($129 a year), but it's totally worth it once you see the boost in engagement in your classroom. Nearpod also integrates PHET models for students to practice with physical science principals.
