Bay Port Wrestling is all about teaching our young men and women to live by what we call "The Pirate Way". These simple but time tested attributes are necessary in all facets of life. Accountability, Discipline, Honor/Integrity, Lifestyle, and Responsibility make up "The Pirate Way". We also focus on the creation of the wrestling family. For anyone who has wrestled or have had relatives who wrestled, they know that this is a unique group of tried and true people who honor hard work, dedication, discipline and are leading members of our communities and society. The wrestling family, is a family for life!
Bay Port Wrestling was first started as a High School program in 1971. Since then, there have only been 4 head coaches in charge of the program which has consistently been a recognized as a top quality program for the development of our young men and women. We have so many success stories from doctors, surgeons, managers, business owners, teachers, engineers, F-16 pilot, Military leadership, NFL players, trusted laborers, and great fathers and mothers. We are so very proud of the many wrestlers and managers who have continued to have very successful lives beyond our team. From wrestlers who have wrestled for years, or those that have decided to try it for the first time, the staff works tirelessly to improve their skills and make each wrestler as competitive as any other in the area/state.
