All About Me

Hello! My name is Shannon Sheppard. I am happily married, and we have two beautiful daughters named Payton (9) and Shay(8), and a son, Knox (3). They sure do keep us busy!  In addition to our children, we also have a dog named Demi. Demi is a Chocolate Lab who loves attention. There are so many things I enjoy other than teaching. I love being outside, getting exercise, camping, bbqing, hiking, swimming, hanging out with family and friends, and much more. 

This will be my 13th  year of teaching. I taught third grade at Hillsboro Elementary for six years, and this will be my seventh year teaching sixth grade.  In 2012 I graduated from Missouri Baptist University with a Bachelors Of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I also have my Master's Degree in Educational Administration.  I absolutely love learning new things! My love of learning has motivated me to enroll in additional courses, so I can stay up to date on the latest teaching trends. Learning new skills everyday is so fun!
