Assessments

REQUIRED ASSESSMENTS:

As a graduation requirement students are required to complete certain nation-wide and state-wide assessments.

  • One of the following national tests: ACT, ASVAB, SAT, or ACT Work Keys.

  • Four state-wide End of Course assessments: Algebra 1, Biology 1, English 2, and Government.


Students must sign up for ACT on their own. This is taken on already scheduled Saturdays.

The ASVAB is scheduled through the school. All juniors will take it on April 11, 2019.

STATE ASSESSMENTS:

State assessments have set windows during 3 periods of the year. The End of Course (EOC) exams are typically taken at the successful completion of each particular course. These are scheduled by the teacher and test coordinator. Students that are absent or deferred by a teacher at the time of the window will be given the assessment during the following window.

  • Algebra 1 EOC-scheduled in April/May of each year.

  • Biology 1 EOC-scheduled in April/May of each year.

  • English 2 EOC-scheduled in April/May of each year.

  • Government EOC (Civics classes are scheduled in January of the year taking the course).
