Hi, my name is Becky Solomon. This is my 19th year teaching at Hillsboro Junior High. I graduated from Missouri State in 2002 with a degree in Marketing and earned my Masters in Teaching from Missouri Baptist University. I was the At-Risk teacher for 7 years and have been currently teaching the Gateway To Technology (GTT) classes for the past 11 years.
I currently teach the GTT Explo class for the 7th graders, STEM class for the 8th graders and Medical Detectives for both 7th & 8th graders. I'm also the STEM Club sponsor. I'm also the 7th grade Quiz Bowl coach/sponsor. You can also see me working sporting events at the Junior High and announcing the track meets.
I have been married since 2014 and have two daughters. Lily is in the 11th grade and Alice is in 4th. They both keep my husband and I busy!
I love to spend time with my family, enjoy traveling to new places, swimming in our pool and being outside.
