Hello! My name is Mrs. Moriarty and I am currently enjoying my ninth year teaching here at Hillsboro Intermediate! I LOVE my job and count my blessing EVERY day - our 5th and 6th grade student are ROCK STARS!!!
I graduated from Lindbergh High School in South County and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Art Education K-12 from Maryville University in Chesterfield, MO.
I have always enjoyed art and helping children learn. Every day brings new opportunities and adventures - no two days are the same! Check back on a regular basis to see new artwork uploaded to this year's art lessons!
In addition to teaching, I am a mommy to a First Grader, Ryan. Ryan Gabriel was born at 26 weeks and weighed around one and half pounds! He has overcome countless hurdles and reminds me on a daily basis how amazing and resilient kiddos are! My daughter, Reagan Grace, is about a year and half- I am enjoying all of the sweet little baby milestones.
I am very close to my family and L-O-V-E animals...cats are my favorite! Faith is the cornerstone and supporting force of my life. I also enjoy painting, drawing, sewing, coffee, reading, gardening/nature, playing with my children, organizing, cooking, spending time with friends and family and chocolate.
Please feel free to email or call me at any time!
