The Hillsboro Junior High Counseling Department is dedicated to providing a wide variety of resources and services to our students, parents, and staff members. Our goal is to enhance academic, career, and social/emotional awareness through direct and indirect services by offering the following:
Individual counseling
Small group counseling
Classroom guidance lessons
Crisis management and intervention
Referrals to outside agencies and community resources
Collaboration with team members to reach common goals

Hello Jr. High families! Let me take a moment to introduce myself. This is my 4th year with Hillsboro R-3 School District and my 7th year as a School Counselor. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor and have worked in the counseling field for over 20 years. I enjoy sports, being outdoors, spending time with my family and friends, and the blessing of having a job I truly love.
