Welcome to Music at Hillsboro Intermediate! I am so excited to have your students in class! I just wanted to tell you a little about myself. I am a 1995 graduate of Hillsboro High School, where I was very active in band and choir. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Missouri Baptist University in 2000 and my Masters in Music Education from the University of Missouri - St. Louis in 2005. This is my 22nd year of teaching. I spent the first 15 years of my career teaching 6th-8th grade choir and music at Hazelwood Northwest Middle School. In 2015, my family returned to Hillsboro and I started teaching at Hillsboro Intermediate. This is my 7th year here and I am loving it!

My husband Tim and I have been married for 21 years and we have 2 children, Cadence and Caleb. Mr. Arnold is the choir director at Hillsboro High School and both of our children are students in the district. We are so excited to be in Hillsboro and we are proud to be HAWKS!
