Thankyou, Next Support

Thank you for using Thankyou, Next! This extension is designed to make grading in Google Classroom more efficient while keeping you in control of your grades.

If the extension isn't working as expected, try the troubleshooting steps below.

How to Use the Extension

The extension requires you to enter a valid numeric grade before pressing Enter. It does not intentionally enter grades for you.

Common Problems and Solutions

Pressing Enter doesn't advance to the next student

If the problem continues, reload the Google Classroom page and try again.

The next student's work loads, but the grade field doesn't have focus

Google Classroom may take control of the keyboard focus while loading the next submission.

The extension doesn't seem to be running

If you installed the extension manually for testing, make sure you are using the Chrome profile in which it was installed.

I'm worried the extension might accidentally change a grade

Thankyou, Next is designed to respond to your Enter key press after you enter a valid numeric grade. It is not designed to automatically assign a grade or submit grades on your behalf.

Always verify the displayed grade before moving on. If you notice unexpected behavior, disable the extension and report the problem.

The extension stopped working after a Google Classroom update

Google may change its grading interface at any time. These changes can affect extensions that interact with Classroom pages.

If the extension stops working, reload the page and check for an updated version in the Chrome Web Store.

Privacy and Data

Thankyou, Next is designed to operate locally in your browser. It does not intentionally transmit student grades, student names, assignment submissions, or Google account information to the developer or to external servers.
