Mrs. Murphy is traveling at a speed of 12 miles per hour. Mr. Cotton is traveling at 8 miles per hour but has a 24 mile head start! How far into the race will Mrs. Murphy catch up to Mr. Cotton. This means, how many hours will it take for them to be the same amount of miles into the race?

To find your lock code you know the first number is 7...........but you need the other three numbers. Multiply the number of hours it takes Mrs. Murphy to catch up to Mr. Cotton by the number of miles into the race when they met. This will give you a three digit number.
