Centers of exploration
Falcon's Nest
In the Falcon's Nest Preschool we offer a variety of activities for students to learn through play. Our curriculum comes from the interests of the children and long term projects of exploration. We assess children using the 38 Objectives written by Teaching Strategies GOLD. Throughout the areas of learning we have suggested a few goals we typically look for progress in while children play, however we are always capturing the student's learning regardless of the intended goal. At each checkpoint period, progress towards the 38 objectives is shared with parents. High School students interact with Preschoolers in these areas of play and write their observations. This helps the High School students to learn how to interact, observe and document student growth.
