Individual sessions that target learning delays in place value, proportions, operation use, pattern recognition, vocabulary, and spatial concepts. Priority is given to middle years students who have been assessed with or are highly suspected of having a math specific learning disability (dyscalculia).
Collaborative sessions to discuss programming recommendations for students who are having difficulty with math. These may include consult on SSPs, numeracy screenings, or assistance in setting up school-based interventions.
Presentations or workshop facilitation are available as time allows, and as approved by the division. Sample topics to explore:Â
