Esports and Video Gaming Club

VGC - Video Gaming Club is a club open to all students with the larger goal of introducing players to sanctioned Esports Ohio competitive play with other Ohio high schools while also maintaining a fun and recreational play component.

Esports is becoming a major economic and cultural force in the 21st Century and students can obtain scholarships and other benefits from participation. 
More than just 'playing a game', Esports teaches teamwork and other excellent skills.

Currently, the VGC game inventory includes Smash Ultimate, Mario Kart, Overwatch, and Fortnite, Chess, Valorant, and Rocket League.   As of 2025, we are into our 3rd full season of competitive Esports play with teams from all over Ohio.
