How to create your bibliography:
We will be using MLA citation format for this project.
Log in to your school Google account and go to Google Docs. Create a new Google Doc - Name it like this: Last name - Your country name example: Belanger - Italy
Type should be 12 pt. Times New Roman
Heading should look like this:
Andrea Belanger
Information Literacy
Bibliography - Country Name
You must “share” your bibliography with editing privileges with Mrs. Belanger.
My email address is: abelanger@hr-k12.org
Type in the book citation we created in class - this will be your first entry. No book sources during Remote Learning
This bibliography DOES NOT have to be in alphabetical order (but usually this is required).
For information from Facts on File or Encyclopedia Britannica you will copy and paste the citation information. (Bottom of EVERY article in Facts on File, click on the check mark for Britannica).
Your bibliography will have two sections, one for information and one for images. You may use single spacing but skip a line between each source.
For Image Sources:
You MUST trace your image back to the site it appeared on and cite that, NOT Google Images.
Use this format for creating image citations:
“Title of Image”. Web address (URL copy/pasted from browser). Day Month Year (that you viewed it)
12 pt. Times single spaced – Double space between each source
