I’m so excited about the wonderful opportunity to teach your child this year! Teaching has been my passion ever since I was a kid playing school in the basement with my two sisters. Along with teaching second grade, I've also taught first grade and worked with children as a reading specialist. I’m a graduate of Hope College with a master’s degree from GVSU. I live in Holland and I have three wonderful kids. Katherine is a teacher in the Chicago area. Danny is a civil engineer and he and his wife, Julia, live in Grand Rapids and have the cutest baby in the world, John! My youngest, Will, works for a online vision care company and lives in GR. Some of my favorite activities include baking yummy things, running, and reading really long books.
