Welcome to third grade at Alward! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year and thankful to be back at school. 

Here's a little bit about me....I have been teaching 3rd grade for a long time (this is my 32nd year). I have always taught at Alward. My first year teaching was in 6th grade and then I moved to 3rd grade. I loved it and have stayed there ever since! Third grade really is the best!

I live in Hamilton with my dog, Jackson, and cats Lola and Charlie.  My oldest daughter, Emma, is married. Thankful that she too lives in Hamilton, so I still get to see her tons. She is expecting a baby girl at the end of September. My youngest daughter, Maddie, is also married. Her and her husband live in Allegan where she also works as a dental assistant and is going to school to become a dental hygenist. My middle daughter, Josie is starting her second year as a kindergarten teacher at Georgetown Elementary and lives in Grandville. I'm so excited to watch her be a teacher and that I get to experience it with her in Hudsonville. 

I love spending time with my family, reading, playing volleyball and pickleball, watching sports, and shopping.
