Summer Soar

Overview

• Students complete activities (details below) for the following weeks: June 15-21, June 22-28, June 29-July 05, July 06-July 12, July 13-19, and July 20-26

• For each week completed, students or parents complete  this form to earn a book reward

• Claim rewards at the Hudsonville Public Schools Administration Building during scheduled times (shown below)

Weekly Activity Guidance 

• To qualify for the prize, complete an activity from both sections below per week:

• Math

  • Go to the this Khan Academy Class page and create a new account or log in to your existing account (choose new if not sure)

  • Follow prompts and then login with your HPS Google Account

  • Choose a grade level and then choose then choose the grade level or math class you are going into next year (Alg for 9th, Geo for 10th, Alg 2 for 11th) 

  • Complete 1 or more lessons each week

  • See this intro video for a walkthrough of the process for getting started

• Language / Creative

  • Choose something from these recommended language or creative summer activities

  • Try to vary your choices from week to week

Wednesdays from 12:00-1:00 p.m.  June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29.

OR 

Pick up prizes from the entryway after 4 pm on the dates listed above. You can choose a book when you complete the form, and we will leave it in the entryway for you
