4 - Class Dues
At HHS we collect class dues to help put money in each graduating class's account. This occurs so that we can put on events throughout your time at HHS and avoid needing to do large scale fundraisers, like having everyone sell a coupon book or candy bars!
We ask for $10 per year you attend HHS and you can pay that $40 at our Summer 9th Grade Open House. You can bring cash, check made to HHS or pay online through our Community Ed office.
This money is spent on HHS students. It helps to fund or reduce costs of events/activities for each group of students. Give-aways, Prom, the Senior Breakfast, our Graduation ceremony, etc... all use money from this source. We understand that, as a community, we all "pay taxes" to run our schools. This is true! That tax money pays for the basics of school (fuel for busses, paper, buildings, busses, desks, etc...). Class dues go to help pay for the "extras" we experience throughout your time at HHS. Class dues are also in lieu of individual student fundraising.
